Hi, I’m Ben Mullis. I grew up playing tennis in England and played professionally before moving to the United States on a tennis scholarship to Drake University. At Drake we won multiple conference championships and were ranked inside the NCAA Division I top 20. I went on to coach at Utah State and Pepperdine, then started my own tennis teaching business.

With over 25 years in the game, I know how much the right string and tension can change the way your racquet plays. I string every racquet myself, by hand, here in Venice, and I’m always happy to help you find the right setup.

Restringing is $30 labor ($40 same-day) plus the cost of string. Overgrips are $5 and replacement grips $15, installed. Pickup and delivery within 4 miles is $15 per trip.
